Well of course the Rangers beat the Devils last night in overtime which is always an amazing thing but if these past two preseason games have taught us anything it’s that the future is bright on Broadway. The time has finally arrived! The Rangers opened their Training Camp for the 2017-18 season on Thursday with high hopes and expectations. The Blueshirts come into camp after a rough end to the 2016-17 campaign with a second round loss to the Ottawa Senators, and will no doubt be looking to build on last season.
As the season goes on, we will be doing a series of posts highlighting the Rangers European Prospects. This will take the form of a 3 Stars of the Week. Each post will highlight the performances of three Rangers’ European Prospects, along with a number of honorable mentions. In order to be eligible, a player must play for a European Team. Prospects in the OHL, QMJHL, WHL, and NCAA will be covered in a separate series of posts.
For the eleventh consecutive year, the Rangers will be participating in the Traverse City prospect tournament.
